24 May 2025, PETALING JAYA – Taarana has always been committed to supporting the development of the students and empowering their families through inclusive education and practical resources.

In line with this commitment, Taarana hosted a heartwarming and insightful session titled “Bridging Communication and Social Skills’, dedicated to help parents and children build stronger bonds through meaningful communication.

“What matters most is starting with a strong and simple foundation that the child can easily understand,” said Naomi Nisha, a speech therapist at Taarana.

The session opened with an engaging talk on practical tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), to help children develop better communication and social skills. Through real-life examples and thoughtful explanations, parents gained valuable insights into how these essential skills can be nurtured not only at home but also in everyday situations.

Hands-on practice with their children was also important for parents, allowing them to explore the tools together. The room was filled with joy and meaningful connections as families learned and grew together.

A short Q&A session followed, giving parents the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences, and gain even more clarity and confidence in their approach. The event concluded with a Teacher’s Day celebration for the dedicated educators at Taarana.
