The students at Taarana are exposed to a special curriculum that focuses on three main areas: Functional Academics, Life Skills and Aesthetics.
The curriculum is developed through teacher observation, evaluation of individual student, and careful creative planning. Our approach is to provide children with a rich learning environment to learn at their own pace and to provide an environment that challenges the student.
Functional Academics covers Literacy, Numeracy, Information Technology and Language. Life Skills includes Self-help, Social Competence, Social Emotional Learning, Family life, Moral Education and Sexuality Education. Finally, Aesthetics consists of Physical Education, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, and Music and Movement.
